Our Story

Legacy Companies Alabama began with a simple purpose. To serve local builders and homeowners with reliable renovation services and a commitment to craftsmanship that lasts. What started as a small construction operation has grown into a multi-division company built on experience, faith, and family values.

Founded by Allen Lane and his son-in-law Hunter Hawkins, Legacy was established to offer more than just contracting work. Our mission is rooted in the true meaning of the word Legacy,  “Capturing your life and lessons learned to celebrate and share these life experiences and lessons with family.” Inspired by Deuteronomy 6:2, our work is designed to bless not only the current generation but those to come.

Our Founders

Allen Lane

With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Allen brings deep knowledge, field tested skill, and a passion for doing things the right way. His leadership sets the standard across all our divisions. Allen and his wife Vicki are proud parents of six children and grandparents to eleven, and counting.

Hunter Hawkins

Hunter has worked closely with Allen in the field for years, mastering spray foam insulation systems and learning the finer details of what it means to run a job site with excellence. After launching Legacy Spray Foam LLC, Hunter built a team known for quality, professionalism, and clear communication. He and his wife Karleigh are raising three young boys, Easton, Ridge, and Bowen, and are committed to building something lasting for their future.

Our original division and the foundation of Legacy Companies Alabama. Legacy Renovations offers full service construction and remodeling for homes and light commercial properties. Whether it’s kitchen remodels, structural updates, or interior finish work, our team brings precision, professionalism, and builder-grade execution to every project. Legacy Spray Foam

Providing open and closed cell spray foam insulation for residential and commercial structures across North Alabama. In partnership with our longtime friend Casey White of White’s Painting LLC, this division delivers long lasting, high-traction epoxy flooring systems for garages, shops, and commercial spaces.
